For Funders

As a Thrive Profile™ Learning Partner, you can help nonprofit organizations access worker wellbeing data while generating community-level insight about burnout, capacity, and sustainability.

Worker Wellbeing is a capacity issue.

Burnout affects retention, stability, service delivery, leadership capacity, and long-term organizational effectiveness. If nonprofit workers are expected to sustain mission-critical work under unsustainable conditions, the sector’s impact is at risk.

Funders can play a critical role by helping organizations understand the conditions shaping worker wellbeing and by investing in the systems that make sustainable work possible.

What is a Learning Partner?

Learning Partners support access to the Thrive Profile™ for a group of nonprofit organizations in a region, field, or funding community. Participating organizations receive their own confidential organization-level results, while the Learning Partner receives aggregated insights that can help identify broader patterns, needs, and opportunities for capacity-building.

The Thrive Profile™ helps funders move beyond general concern about burnout and toward more actionable insight. Instead of asking whether organizations offer wellness activities, the assessment examines the structural and cultural conditions that shape worker wellbeing day after day.

Individual worker responses are confidential. Organization-level results are not shared with funders unless an organization chooses to share them. Learning Partners receive aggregated cohort or community-level insights designed to support shared learning, not evaluation or compliance.

The goal is not to evaluate nonprofits. The goal is to learn what nonprofit workers need — and what systems can better support them.

A Learning Partnership may be a good fit if you want to:

  • Understand worker wellbeing across your grantee community

  • Support nonprofit capacity and sustainability

  • Generate data to inform future funding strategies

  • Learn what organizations need beyond short-term wellness activities

  • Build shared language around burnout, workload, leadership, and organizational conditions

  • Support a cohort of nonprofits in moving from insight to action
